Two former Oil tanks behind London’s Tate Modern building are currently being transformed into a public art space for live performance, installations film and lectures. It has been redesigned by Swiss architect company Herzog & De Meuron and due for final completion by 2016 which will give the gallery a 70% space increase.  Pretty awesome use for some old oil tanks !
